WORDS WORK

[ The menu ]

Every job a word
can hold.

Twelve ways to hire the same standard: research like journalism, drafts with margin notes, and a fixed price you approve before a single word clocks in. Hover the rows, they open.

How it works

no mystery, no meter

01

Brief

You talk, we interrogate (nicely). Goals, audience, the three customer quotes you keep repeating at parties. Thirty minutes, no homework.

02

Dig

We read your reviews, your competitors, your support tickets, your docs. The best lines are already out there: customers write them, and we find them.

03

Draft

You get a real draft in your voice (not ours), plus margin notes explaining every choice, so you’re never wondering why a sentence exists.

04

Ship

One structured revision round (usually all it takes), then delivery formatted for wherever it lives: CMS, repo, ESP, or deck. Then we watch the numbers with you.

Prices are starting points for scoped, fixed-fee projects, the exact number lands with your quote, within 48 hours of the brief.

Fair questions

Can’t ChatGPT do this?

It produces words, and we use it for grunt work ourselves. But it can’t sit in your customer calls, notice the sentence that made three prospects lean forward, and build a page around it. The research, the judgment, and the taste are the job. The typing was never the hard part.

What does it cost?

Every service lists a starting price, and a scoped quote lands within 48 hours of your brief. Projects are fixed-price: you approve a number, not a meter.

What if the draft misses?

Every project includes a structured revision round. If draft one is genuinely off-target (wrong voice, wrong angle), we rewrite it on our dime. If we can’t get there, you pay a kill fee, not the full fee. That has happened once. We still think about it.

Do you know our industry?

Possibly. But method beats familiarity: we’ve made HVAC scheduling sound urgent and webhook retries sound elegant, using the same process every time: interview, dig, draft, ship. Expertise gets hired for the first draft; curiosity writes the better one.

How fast?

Most single pieces ship inside two weeks, brief to final. Bigger builds (docs overhauls, content engines) get a milestone schedule up front, in writing, with dates you can screenshot.

Start the brieftwo sentences. that’s the whole form.
